Technical and functional changes included in the Empxtrack build 10.22.01 – 10.23.01 release.

Date: 13 November 2024

Functional changes

  • Enhancements in the employee profile page.
    • Data change request created by HR Manager/employee, requested/suggested changes will now visible in a table format with column headers as ‘Field name’, ‘Old value’ and ‘New value’. During view of a data change request, fields with requested/suggested changes will be visible.
    • In a data change request, fields with no values will be visible with dash (-) sign.
    • Resolved the issue related to duplicate ‘effective date’ visibility in ‘Employment history’ section.
    • Fixed the issue related to visibility of Skills/Competencies added by an employee.
    • Common source of code is being used to display data in different sections of the profile page.
  • Enhancements in the Exit module.
    • At the HR Manager end, added different functionalities to move an employee to the different steps of offboarding process.
    • Enabled wizard concept during add/edit of resignation details for an employee at HR Manager end.
    • Enhancements in the visibility of different fields of the exit wizard.
    • For exits types where reason field is not required, such as Retired, reason field is non mandatory now in validations.
    • Single workflow is being used to capture resignation from different stakeholders.
  • Enhancements in the project addition functionality.
    • Enabled 6 steps wizard to add a project under timesheet configuration.
    • During addition of a project, user can add new clients, create vacant positions, add multiple employees and add new activities in different steps of the wizard.
  • Enabled wizard concept for ‘Setup seat masters’ functionality at the HR Manager end.
  • Resolved the issue related to visibility of an employee profile page from three dots icon of a social feed.
  • At the HR Manager end, after opening profile of an employee, if try to use ‘Change employee’ icon to select another employee, validation implemented for selection of an employee.
  • In BYOH-Portal product, fixed the visibility of ‘Shift applicable’ field in the employee profile page.
  • Enhancements in the candidate details page when a candidate applies from the job portal.
  • Fixed the bug related to visibility of sub-department field in a published job request
  • In Recruitment module, fixed the issue of ‘Cancel’ and ‘Confirm’ buttons during edit of candidate profile when a candidate applies from the job portal.

  • Enhancements in the visibility of normal and restricted/optional holidays in the holiday calendar.
  • Resolved the issue related to visibility of different financial periods in the filter option when a user tries to view travel & expense details in full page view.
  • At the HR Manager end, fixed the issue related to visibility of ‘Initiate’ button after nomination of a employee for a training programme.
  • Fixed the bug during initiation of a compensation cycle at the HR Manager end.
  • Resolved the issue related to visibility of ‘Blood Group’ values in the ‘Job details’ form of a onboarding plan.
  • For ‘Time’ based time sheet, fixed the issue related to visibility of time after edit of a timesheet entry.

  • During view of project details, added an option as ‘Include inactive/disabled projects’ to view the inactive/disabled projects.

Technical changes

  • Enhancements in the displayEditableControl functionality, added more controls.
  • Code improvements in the Exit module. All tabs and links of module will now render from associated properties.

  • Enhancements in different sections of employee profile page.
    • During add/edit of a section by a stakeholder, common source of code is being used throughout the product.
    • All validations related to different HRIS fields is now being controlled from a common point.
    • Client customized files related to the employee profile page are also updated as per the base product changes.
    • Enabled a check box option for shift applicable field.
  • Enhancement in the Onboarding module.
    • Added bar graph and pi chart to display yearly statistics and status of onboarding requests.
    • All employee related fields in the job details form of a onboarding request will now be visible from common source inline to the employee profile page.
    • Employee related fields visible in the job details form can be enabled/disabled from the product configuration functionality and visibility can be defined for different onboarding plans.
    • Other enhancements related to visibility of salutation and blood group fields in the job details form of a onboarding request.
  • Resolved the issue related to selection of ignore email check box while using the next or previous buttons during addition of a new employee.
  • In the product configuration, during enable/disable of a employee related field, added an option as ‘Joinee’ so that respective field will visible to the onboarding candidate.
  • In exit module, improvements in the visibility of different fields in the dialog box while moving an employee to the full and final state or edit the exit details.
  • Enabled a custom workflow for social feed at employee/HR manager end. ‘Send back’ functionality enabled at HR Manager end when a request is submitted by an employee for approval.
  • For ‘Time’ based time sheet, enhancements related to capture of start and end time during addition of a timesheet entry.
  • Enhancements in the ‘Project allocation’ link when a manager tries to view projects allocated to an employee.
  • Fixed the issue related to recurring events in the Event calendar.
  • Resolved the issue of home page common search box, text ‘Holiday Calendar’ was not being searched.
  • At the administrator end, resolved the issue related to visibility of duplicate ‘Attendance’ link under ‘Manager services’ menu of ‘Setup access controls’ functionality.
  • At manager end, regularization request submitted by a subordinate is not opening properly. Fixed this issue.
  • At employee end, in 360 Feedback module while viewing the ‘Summary report’ not able to scroll down. Resolved the issue.
  • Fixed the issue related to scroll down option in TDS advice report after selection of print icon option at employee end.
  • In BYOH-Eazy Payroll product, added a help tip for manager name during addition of an employee .
  • In BYOH-Appraisal product, fixed the issue related to addition of a new group in the ‘Goal library’ during addition of a goal specific to a group.
  • Enhancements in the Promotions and Transfers module related to visibility of workflow state and formula associated with a salary component.
  • In the product, enabled a property to ignore different states of a workflow.

Functional changes

  • Across the product, enabled visibility of buttons on top of a render table for different modules if the number of records visible in the table are more than 25.
  • Enhancements in the job requests dashboard page of Recruitment module, added a new column ‘Active’ to display the total count of candidates in New, Shortlisted and Interview status.
  • In the Recruitment module, fixed the bug while clicked on ‘Mass interview assign’ link for shortlisted candidates.
  • Enhancements in the employee profile page for visibility of different fields if no values are defined.
  • During upload of employee data with custom fields, a random number is being visible in the profile page. This issue is fixed now.
  • Resolved the issue related to visibility of confirmation message during reassignment of an existing ticket to an employee in the Helpdesk module.
  • Enhancements related to the visibility of quick links of different modules in the mobile mode.
  • In the BYOH-Appraisal product, error is being observed when clicked on ‘Time based activities’ icon. Resolved this issue.
  • Fixed the issue observed during download of data from ‘Loan details report’ for a single employee.
  • During submission of a resignation request by an employee, the ‘Final interview by’ field is now visible to different stakeholders enabled in the workflow.
  • Resolved the issue when a candidate clicks on the logo bar during the onboarding process.
  • At the employee end, goals uploaded with the help of the link ‘Upload goals’ are not being visible in the employee goalsheet. This issue is fixed now.
  • In the Survey module, fixed the redirection issue when an employee submits a survey request.
  • Enhancements in different links under the HR Manager task functionality related to visibility of ‘Done’ button and its redirection to the appropriate page.
  • Enhancements in the visibility of TDS Advice page.
  • Resolved issue related to addition of a sub category for an expense type.
  • In the product, fixed the bug related to scroll down and the pages are getting freezed in some specific scenarios.

Technical changes

  • Consolidation of Javascript functions related to the Helpdesk, Benefits and Compensation modules.
  • Javascript functions specific to Search groups, Upload/Download, Support desk and Tickets functionalities are also consolidated.

  • Release of new BYOH-Payroll product ‘Eazy payroll‘ to enable quick and efficient steps for the payroll configuration and processing. The features of the new product are:
    • 3 easy steps to configure and process payroll
    • Configuration of earning, statutory, deduction components and payout mechanism from the front end
    • During setup, the Eazy payroll product allows to define the payout frequency as Monthly, Bi-Weekly and Weekly
    • Configurable options for salary components based on the geography
    • Product allows quick and easy navigations between different steps of configuration, payroll processing and quick disbursal to the employees
    • Bulk upload/download of processed salary
    • Bulk download of payslips for the employees with a single click
    • For India payroll, the ‘Calculate‘ button allows to calculate the statutory compliances
    • In the report section, the product allows to view or download the processed data for the statutory deductions and salary register
    • Variation report allows to check the variance with the last month’s processed payroll
    • Quick and seamless migration from the ‘Eazy payroll’ product to the advance version of the payroll
  • Enabled visibility of salary heads in the product based on the geography.
  • Fixed the issue related to change of an employee’s shift by the HR Manager end.
  • Fixed the issue of invite functionality for different BYOH products.
  • Enabled feature in the product to allow special characters in the custom fields mapped in the HRIS module.

  • In BYOH-Attendance product enabled the functionality of attendance regularization link at the manager end.
  • At the administrator end resolved the issue related to ‘Manager services’ link under setup access controls functionality.
  • Enabled functionality to add special character/icons when employee submits a social feed request for approval to the HR Manager.
  • Resolved the issue related to salary structure assignment/edit by the HR Manager.
  • In a appraisal plan if we enable ‘Overide automatic score calculation by a rating’ option in the goalsheet form, data was not saving. Fixed this issue.
  • Resolved the issue related to visibility of employee count in the exit tab if the HR Manager modifies exit details of an exited employee.
  • In the BYOH-Feedback product, fixed the issue related to visibility of rating scale mapped with the feedback product.
  • During the addition of a new leave type, the default configurations are being copied but are not editable. Resolved this issue.
  • Resolved the issue related to visibility of month names in the recruitment widget on the dashboard page.
  • Resolved the issue related to save and edit of a report saved under ‘Saved/Scheduled reports’ section.
  • Resolved the issue related to assignment of permissions to the extra roles available in the application.
  • Fixed the issue related to timer icon keeps rotating after purchase of a BYOH product.
  • Enabled functionality related to visibility of old data at the HR Manager end when an employee raises a request for changes in basic data elements.
  • Resolved the issue related to filter when HR Manager tries to view details for past month, date range and the current month.

    • Enabled message to the employee when HR Manager generates and publish a letter.
    • Naming convention for the generated letter will be letter name with date and time stamp.
  • Enhancements in the printing of TDS advice at the employee end.
  • Fixed the bug related to visibility of background colour of buttons across different modules.
  • Enabled date validation during opening of investment window for employees by the HR Manager.
  • Enabled ‘Initiate goalsheets’ link in dashboard page goal sheet widget at the HR manager end.
  • Added mouse hover tip text in up and down arrows of event calendar widget and also corrected the icons for previous and next month.
  • During addition of a new feed or daily reminder emails, notification e-mail will not be sent to the employee to whom email marked as ignore while sending mail from the scheduler or system.
  • Fixed the issue related to selection of names using multi-select option.
  • Added a feature to display the common functionalities such as home page content, message centre, social feed, company directory without any role change.
  • Added new role type as ‘Open to all’ to enable access of a functionality to all roles. This will allow display of widgets, menu-items to newly added roles (enterprise product feature)
  • Enhancements in the upgrade page of BYOH products to purchase licenses for different products/modules.
  • Enhancements in the payroll module to update history salary components during upload of processed salary/calculation of payroll when there is a gap between different months. Now customers can upload salary for past months and the current month YTD data will be automatically updated.
  • Enhancements in the appraisal initiation functionality using wizard concept and edit controls. Also added send email functionality to the appraisal initiation functionality.
  • Enhancements in the appraisal dashboard page for visibility of column headers for different roles.

  • Bug fixed related to processing of F&F, if we define the investment and other income details for an employee who is exited in previous financial period, these are being added in the current financial period. Though in page, system displays the previous financial period but investment and other income details are being picked from the current financial period.
  • Resolved the issue during generation of horizontal TDS Advice for past financial year, employees are selected with option as ‘all’ in employee status, then data in TDS Advice and horizontal TDS report is not pulling correctly while employees are selected one by one or with employee numbers then data reflect correctly in both reports.
  • Changed the visibility in employee profile page for different sections i.e. education, contact details and other sections are being visible if only HRIS basic module available with other purchased modules i.e. Goalsheet and Appraisal.

  • Fixed the bug in competencies form, not able to delete a competency, showing error.
  • Issue resolved, while changed the value of attribute name and clicked on the save button after editing of competency, timer icon visible for few seconds and changes are not saving. Clicked the Save button again and now after closing the dialog box values are saving. After changes in attribute name value and click on the save button error visible.
  • Issue resolved, we were getting message ‘please specify a value for employee no.’ during adding new employees through a wizard in case we enabled auto number generation.
  • Visibility of job request details, before and after approval at different stakeholder’s end.
  • When clicked to view pending jobs, an empty screen is visible, cannot come back to the open jobs section till clicked on job requests page.
  • Attendance status for a day will be managed by properties for attendance report and employee attendance dashboard.
  • For holiday/weekend instead of 0 hrs, day status will be dispalyed in total hours worked report.
